People analytics
People analytics dashboards for small teams
LVL Up's analytics dashboards show an owner or office manager how the people side of the practice is going: how many goals are on track, which reviews have not started, how much feedback and recognition is moving, and how engagement is trending. Every dashboard exports to CSV and reports export to PDF. It is built for someone with nine minutes before the partners' meeting, not for an analyst.
How it works
Goals: what is on track, at risk and done
The goals dashboard counts the practice's goals by status and shows them by team and by person. The owner sees that the clinical team has two goals at risk without opening each one.
Reviews: who has not started
A review cycle has a self-review, a manager review and a conversation, each with a status. The dashboard shows how far the cycle has got and who has not started, which is the one number the office manager needs two weeks before the deadline.
Feedback, recognition and engagement over time
How much feedback was given, how much recognition and to whom, and what the pulse surveys and eNPS said, each shown over time. A quiet quarter is visible as a flat line rather than as a feeling.
Exports, and advanced reporting on Scale
Every dashboard exports to CSV, and reports export to PDF for the partners' meeting or the file. Standard reporting is on every plan. Scale adds advanced reporting and department management for a practice with several departments.
How a practice uses it
The quarterly partners' meeting
Three physician partners meet each quarter. The one who runs the practice used to spend an evening building a slide about staff. Now she exports the goals, review and engagement dashboards to PDF the morning of the meeting and spends the evening on something else.
Finding the review cycle that stalled
A dental practice opens its annual review cycle in January. In February the office manager looks at the dashboard and sees that the self-reviews are done, the manager reviews are not, and the one manager who has not started is the owner. That is a different conversation from a reminder email to everyone.
Seeing which team gets thanked and which does not
The recognition dashboard shows that the doctors and hygienists receive recognition and the sterilization and front-desk staff receive almost none. The owner did not know, because the thanks that reach the doctors come from patients. She says so at the team meeting and recognizes the front desk herself the next week.
What it does not do
The dashboards count what is in LVL Up: goals, reviews, feedback, recognition, surveys and the staff records. They do not read production, collections or patient-visit numbers from your practice software, and they do not predict who will resign. A small practice produces small numbers: a chart of six people's engagement moves when one person has a bad week, so read it with that in mind. Department management and advanced reporting are Scale features. It holds employment records for your staff, not patient records, and it is not built for protected health information.

Common questions
What is people analytics?
Counting the things a practice does with its people and showing them over time: goals set and met, reviews finished, feedback and recognition given, surveys answered. In a small practice it is less about statistics and more about seeing the thing you would otherwise find out from a resignation letter. LVL Up shows these on dashboards an owner can read in a few minutes.
Do we need analytics with twelve staff?
Not a lot of it. What a twelve-person practice needs is to see that the review cycle is stalled, that goals are at risk, and that the pulse has dropped, without opening each record. That is what standard reporting on Team does. Advanced reporting on Scale is for a practice with departments that wants the same picture broken down by department.
Can I export the data?
Yes. Every dashboard exports to CSV and reports export to PDF. The practice's staff data can also be exported in full from settings, and there is a public API on Growth and Scale.
Does it connect to our practice management software?
No. LVL Up is a staff-side system. The dashboards show what is entered in LVL Up and do not read production, collections, visits or schedules from your practice management, billing or EHR software.
Who can see the dashboards?
Access follows role. The owner and anyone with an admin role see the practice-wide dashboards. Survey results are shown as aggregates to everyone who can see them, whatever their role, and are withheld when too few people have answered.
What does advanced reporting add?
It is a Scale feature for a practice organized into departments: the same dashboards broken down by department, alongside department management. A practice with one location and one team gets what it needs from standard reporting on Team or Growth.
What happens when the trial ends?
The trial is 14 days, no credit card, then read-only until a plan is chosen. Nothing you entered is deleted while it is read-only.
