Next 1:1: ________

Keep the notes. A dated record of what was discussed and agreed is what makes the next review, or a hard conversation, fair to both of you.

In LVL Up every 1:1 keeps its notes and follow-ups on the person's record, and the next meeting opens with what is still open from the last one.

Common questions

Is anything I type saved or sent to LVL Up?

No. The agenda is built in your browser and is gone when you close the tab. Printing, copying and downloading all happen on your device.

How often should I hold 1:1s?

Weekly or every two weeks is common for a small team. What matters more than the interval is that they happen when planned; a 1:1 that keeps getting moved tells the person where they rank.

Why do their topics come first?

It is their meeting more than yours. If your list goes first, it fills the time and the thing they were worried about never comes up. Your points go right after theirs.

What should I write down?

Two lines per block and every agreed action with an owner and a date. Next time, start with the follow-ups. Months of short notes are what make a review or a hard conversation fair.
